To be saved you must Repent -Believe -Receive

The most important thing you can discover is that God Loves YOU and offers eternal life!

The bible says "but God proves his own love for us that while we were still sinners Christ died for us"  Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believed in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16

 To understand the importants of this verse you must realize who Jesus Christ is  Jesus is God, Jesus was sinless, He followed God's will and died on the Cross and three days later rose again as he had promised. Jesus died on the cross for sin. The bible says

 "For Christ also suffured for sin once and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God."   1Peter 3:18

 Since the sin of Adam and Eve we have all been guilty of sin. The bible says

 " For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God" Romans 3:23

 For this sin we will all suffer a physical first death. The bible says

 " For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23

 but that does not have to be the end.  Jesus offers salvation, the bible says

 He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him."  2 Corinthians 5:21

 Jesus's resurrection from the cross is proof that we can be forgiven.

 Jesus is offering his free gift of Salvation, but he gave us all a choice we have to chose to recieve him.

  The bible says "Repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out" Acts 3:19

 This means turning away from sin and turning to God.

 Jesus said " I am the way the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me"  John 14:6

 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" Romans 10:13

 if "you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, For with the heart one believes and is justified , and with the mouth one confesses and is saved" Romans 10 : 9-10

 Believing and receiving means trusting Christ alone for salvation. If you are ready to make that commitment pray this prayer or a similar prayer from your heart

 " Dear God, I know I am a sinner.  I believe Christ died on the cross for my sins and then arose. I now turn from sin and trust you as my Lord and you alone for my salvation. According to your word I believe you and recieve you by faith. Thank you for the free gift of eternal life.  Amen"

The Christian life is a journey but you can be confident that God loves you and will go with you every step.
